The AI&R; team in Hyderabad is looking for a passionate and highly skilled Program Manager who will be the champion of our users to the engineering & partner teams within Microsoft and evangelize those offerings to the users. The ideal candidate for this role has proven product management, collaboration and project management skills. They must be able to work independently, remove barriers, embrace change and operate effectively with ambiguity. They must have a high level of integrity and consistently demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude with the ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive material.




  • Define the customer promise, and own creation of a feature roadmap and delivering to it
  • Analyze and understand user behavior and usage patterns to identify customer problems
  • Define feature specs to clearly map out customer problems with feature requirements, and the outcome
  • Define success metrics for the deliverables that map to customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver features & enhancements, track success metrics and iterate
  • Monitor progress of the product throughout the product development lifecycle, identifying risks and opportunities, keeping key stakeholders informed.
  • Drive analysis and support of investment decisions and offer business perspective to influence key strategic decisions
  • Proactively identify issues that impede business group success and providing solutions / recommendations

The ideal candidate is a Program Manager with:

  • Strong analytical and data mining skills – highly skilled to munge data effectively to derive insights that can drive feature direction
  • Exceptional cross-organization coordination & negotiation skills including ability to build comprehensive & compelling presentations and communication materials that span functions and groups 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple high-profile projects of varying timelines simultaneously 
  • Motivated to work with and leverage internationally distributed development teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, possess a high energy level to react to situations quickly and decisively, possessing self-confidence to be assertive when taking a position, not afraid to make decisions.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 8-12 years of work experience in software and/or services
  • Bonus: Previous work experience with online services or Graduate Degree (MBA / MS)
