DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system. Follows all process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections. Delivery Fully proficient performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities. Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less capability. Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals. Work with peers and support staff to: Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints Solve problems and improve processes Participate in continuous improvement activities Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC HMC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, including electrical ,hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication , coolant systems.
- Conduct inspections and preventative or Predictive maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
- Coordinate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately and timely ordered shortage's required parts. and coordinate with CIP team for spare parts procurements and localization and on time delivery.
- Train and supervise less experienced maintenance staff as needed. prepares SOPs / One point lessons for important learnings and procedures.
- Implement maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work on cost saving / energy saving / Kaizen's / and promote and initiate to use of green energy in plant.
Required Qualification:
- Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, specifically with CNC machines, preferably HMCs.
- Education: Technical diploma / degree or certification in mechatronics' engineering, industrial maintenance, mechanical diploma or a related field.
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and maintenance. Ball screw / Table / Fixture / APCs / Guideways / HMCs Spindle / Bearing replacement / Pump - motor replacements repairs.
and Homing / Backlash / MDI - edit mode uses / of Siemens CNC - Sinumeric 1 and Siemens 828 systems with Siemens.
ATLAS COPCO / DESOUTERS nut runners. / LASER MARKING / GANTERY SYSTEM / HONNING /Cylinder block and cylinder head washing machine / Intermediate washing machines / Leak test and Cup plug pressing / MARPOSS Gauging system in Nagel / VISION System and End to end traceability / CMES system understanding / Siemens Servo motor / Grundfos's pump motor / VFDs maintenance / CENTRALIZED COOLANT SYSTEM - PUMP out technologies / Over head Cranes 5T / 3T / 2T and .5T / Material Handling equipment's /Gauges and MMD calibrations / able to understand the ckt. diagrams of electrical / Pneumatics / lub / coolant and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and basic electrical circuits.
- Knowledge of tooling and work holding systems relevant to HMC operations.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and machine tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints and other maintenance documentation work.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA safety, CNC machining) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and time management abilities. And able to report collection related to maintenance facilities parameter and prepare and share MIS on weekly /basis.
- Having knowledge of MS excel & Power Point.
