What is The Role:

We’re looking for a collaborative and results-oriented Treasury Manager to join our Treasury team to focus on investments, foreign currency risk management, debt, and insurance.

As the Treasury Manager, you will bring your experience, strengths, and passion to build a best in class Treasury function supporting the company goals and objectives. You will be part of a multi-functional global Finance team, ensuring we are delivering economic value and managing company risk for Elastic as it continues to grow. You’ll also engage with a diverse range of Elasticians and external business partners across the world. An ideal candidate is curious, flexible, constantly learning, and adapting to change.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead global bank account administration including bank account structure, account openings, closures, signatory updates, compliance with KYC requests
• Support FX trade execution and settlement
• Maintain user management for banking, financial institution, and other treasury systems
• Lead M&A integration, including bank account consolidation, signatory updates, online banking access, reporting
• Assist in managing the corporate global insurance program, including certificates of insurance, contract review, and data gathering for renewals
• Maintain treasury systems and banking platforms (TMS, FX platforms, Clearwater)
• Train team members and business partners on products and systems as needed
• Participate in system implementations, integrations, and process automation initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk management across global treasury operations
• Maintain policies and procedures for treasury operations to ensure adherence to and governance standards (SOX Controls)
• Collaborate and provide treasury expertise to cross-functional teams including AP, Payroll, Tax, Legal, AR, and Finance Operations aligning Treasury objectives with the broader finance function
• Build forecast models to support metrics for key areas of treasury including interest income, expenses, and cash flows
• Manage with short-term investment activity, counterparty monitoring, and investment reporting
• Prepare liquidity, capital structure, and risk metrics for internal partners
• Own and/or provide support for a variety of Treasury-related tasks and ad-hoc Treasury projects as needed

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• 7+ years of experience in Treasury with an international company
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
• Strong analytical and strategic thinker who can create data-driven recommendations
• Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail with a control-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of foreign currency exposures and FX trading
• Consistent record of discovering and implementing solutions that facilitate scale in the Treasury organization
• Treasury systems experience including TMS and other FinTechs such as FXall, ICD, Clearwater, Bloomberg as well as ERP system experience
• Knowledge in Treasury related FASB rules and SEC disclosures
• Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization, influence behavior, and lead change
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
