The Visa Digital Issuer Solutions Product Operations and Risk Management team is seeking an outstanding Director with the vision, passion, and commitment to drive Visa's global mobile enablement strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Product Operations & Risk Management Senior Director, this is a global role that will be tasked with working closely with clients, regional product team members, and Visa technology and client support partners across the globe and will require time zone flexibility when completing tasks and collaborating with cross functional teams. Our team is responsible for product operations, certain aspects of product delivery, and organizational and client readiness.
- You will manage assigned business initiatives and will be responsible for providing product subject matter expertise, oversight and prioritization of identified product issues, development of operational and other business processes, new business initiative and privacy assessment process management, and assistance with end-to-end product readiness initiatives.
- You will be supporting client implementations, business readiness, and incident management processes and procedures.
- You will be required to develop and maintain task and project workplans, identify risks and issues, and to work closely with their peers and management to ensure high quality and on-time delivery for each assigned deliverable. This person makes decisions on routine matters, selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, and will provide guidance to others within main product/service areas.
- You will collaborate cross functionally and be responsible for the global product strategy, execution, and client enablement of numerous mobile and digital initiatives. This role will contribute to the product development of multiple digital products: Digital Enablement SDK, Visa In-app Provisioning API, Visa Transaction Controls, Visa Digital Commerce App and more.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. Additionally, experience in project/program management, product management, a good understanding of software development life cycle, and strong analytical and communication skills will be ideal.
- This individual will be a subject matter expert for assigned aspects of digital processing and enablement solutions related to mobile, payment, and commerce capabilities.
- Ensure product quality, including non-functional aspects such as: integrity, resilience and scalability.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of customers and our markets.
- Critical vision and thinking, with the ability to articulate and implement improvements in processes and products.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
- The ideal candidate must possess good critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational experience, with a desire to build product implementation, readiness and management skills. Additionally, experience in project/program management and an understanding of software development life cycle will be ideal.
- Experience in mobile/digital banking, payments and/or financial services industry is a strong plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence to build credibility at executive levels within Visa and with clients.
- Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, with the ability to tailor delivery of complex topics to various audience levels.
- Ability to translate product complexities, strategic insights, and analytical findings related to digital into actionable recommendations and practical business solutions.
- Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills are required. Including the ability to author and contribute to detailed technical and business level flow diagrams, presentations, functional specifications, and client facing documentation.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and decision-making skills along with a global, customer-oriented mindset required.
- Strong ability to multi-task and balance between multiple priorities.
- Comfort with high-level, strategic thinking, including willingness to be an active and outspoken participant in decision-making
- Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams around the world and across different time zones

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 163,500.00 to 261,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
