As an Associate Account Manager on the VR Partnerships team, you will help small and medium sized partners grow their business through Vrbo and Expedia Group by optimizing supply and leading commercially oriented conversations.
This role is a high volume, insight led portfolio management function that combines data, storytelling, and strategy to drive partner success.
This role is ideal for structured, proactive problem solvers with strong commercial acumen. You will reframe partner assumptions, diagnose underperformance, and guide partners toward impactful changes. Managing a large, fast paced book of business, you will balance structured outreach with personalized recommendations to help each Host unlock their full potential on the platform.
In this role, you will:

Proactively challenge partner assumptions and guide strategic, commercially focused thinking
Use performance data, competitive benchmarks, and traveler trends to surface insights and reframe growth opportunities
Lead outcome driven conversations that influence behavior, even in short, high volume, or resistant interactions
Educate Hosts on how to position their properties for success through clear, empathetic, and action oriented communication
Personalize engagement strategies based on host maturity, property type, and regional market dynamics
Segment outreach and prioritize high impact opportunities based on partner performance and growth potential
Translate complex data into simple, prescriptive recommendations that partners can act on quickly
Manage a high-volume portfolio of SMB Hosts using structured call cadences, follow ups, and strategic check ins
Execute weekly activity goals for outbound calls, consultations, and engagement metrics
Own your pipeline and book of business, maintaining accountability for partner adoption, conversion, and retention
Identify and address friction or performance blockers early, using urgency and strategic framing to drive momentum
Use historical and real time data to forecast opportunities and optimize outreach strategies
Recommend relevant platform features and solutions based on partner needs and traveler demand
Continuously refine workflows to improve efficiency, partner outcomes, and personal productivity
Identify evolving traveler trends and help partners adapt to remain competitive
Build trust through clear, consistent, and inclusive communication with both internal teams and external partners
Collaborate cross functionally to solve problems, escalate issues, and share insights that improve platform health
This role follows a hybrid work model. You will spend three days per week in the office and two days working from home, with ~20 percent travel annually to connect with partners and teams in market
Experience and Qualifications
Two to four years of experience in account management, client services, or sales, ideally in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Strong commercial instincts and a challenger mindset, with the confidence to lead change focused conversations
Proven ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate insights into action
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and move conversations forward
Experience managing structured outbound outreach while balancing volume with quality
Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken), as this role involves daily collaboration with local stakeholders and global teams, and frequent use of English‑language platforms and materials
Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or similar CRM and business intelligence tools is a plus
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and proactive problem solving
Experience in vacation rentals, travel technology, or marketplace platforms is a plus
