Packet, a leading bare metal cloud provider, is looking to grow our Marketing team!

This role can be remote or based in one of our office locations

What you’ll be doing:

The Partner Account Manager works with the Developer Product 3rd party partners to enable the best possible outcomes for both sides. It is their job to align incentives, value and operations between the Packet Developer Product team and the Partners.

  • Work with the rest of the team to identify suitable partners to develop the Developer Product value proposition.
  • Align your work to specific objectives of the Developer Relations Department.
  • Reach out and secure new partnerships as needed.
  • Optimize and support existing partnerships
  • Assess ongoing need and value in partnerships, scaling up or down as needed.
  • Facilitate connections between partners and other areas of Packet and Equinix.
  • Own the relationship with partners, ensure that incentives, values and operations are aligned.

What we’ll expect from you:

  • Experience in partner or account management.
  • Experience of working in B2B tech, especially developer tools.
  • Ideally you will have experience as a developer or other experience that means you will be able to grok the tech quickly and not require a translation layer.
  • A phenomenal communicator, self-aware, transparent, collaborative, and open to feedback.
  • Diplomatic, strategic thinking, you will enjoy networking and most likely already have a strong network.
  • Adaptable through constant change, and you embrace it. You’re agile and resilient. You move quickly and encourage continued improvement.
  • A team player. You understand that delivering a value proposition is a challenge best tackled as a team effort. You optimally partner with the other Developer Relations teams to support their ideation and delivery efforts.
