    We were in the Winter 2018 batch of Y-Combinator, we just raised a Series A investment, we have over 13,000 active paying clients, and we're preparing to launch a new product in 2020 (you can read more in Tech Crunch).

    Our teams are fully distributed and global (check out our team page)! We have no office, so we are looking for team members that are comfortable with and motivated by the opportunity to work remotely.

    In this role you will...
    • Join our leadership team and work with our cofounders on strategy.
    • Guide business development strategy and execution at Shogun.
    • Meet and manage our nascent business development team.
    • Own Key Results for 3 business development channels: Sales, Agency Partnerships, and Technology Partnerships.
    • Drive enterprise contract revenues for Shogun Frontend and Shogun Page Builder.
    • Expand the scope of our eCommerce design and development Agency channel partner program to increase revenue.
    • Expand the scope of our eCommerce platform (Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce, Magento) and technology partner (Yotpo, Klayvio, etc.) programs to grow revenue.
    • Develop hypotheses and experiment with approaches to produce revenue for each of the aforementioned channels.
    • Scale successful channels with hiring and team building.
    • Budget for team headcount, BD team SaaS, event sponsorship and partner and client meetings (when it's safe)
    You Have
    • 10+ years of working experience in business development/sales, with 3+ years in a business development/sales leadership role.
    • 5+ years experience in relevant SaaS, eCommerce tech, or web design/dev agencies industries.
    • Track record of exceeding revenue goals in both individual and leadership capacity.
    • Experience scaling teams with high performing reps.
    • Data-driven approach to strategy and decision making.
    • Fluency with sales SaaS tools, and understanding of integrations, sales operations
    • Experience navigating nascent sales channels is preferred.
