Facebook’s Enterprise Collaboration Apps team is responsible for enabling innovation and productivity for Facebookers by curating a seamless and secure collaboration experience. The team is seeking an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking Application Manager to identify, design and implement efficient and effective solutions. This role will be focusing on the Google Cloud suite of products, to meet the demands of the workforce.As a valued member of the Enterprise Engineering organization, the AM will work on all aspects of our collaboration tools including real time document collaboration, document storage, project management tools and any other tools used to improve information collaboration. This is a full-time position based in our Fremont, CA office.

  • Identify best in class collaboration applications based on competitive analysis and consultation with internal stakeholders
  • Gather requirements from cross functional teams to find and develop appropriate solutions. Drive solution through contracting, licensing and migration
  • Analyze users issues, report on bugs and architect solutions that support the Facebook environment
  • Project manage the internal deployment of tools including
  • roll-out strategy, communication plan, training and enablement of internal teams and marketing of new features and capabilities
  • Analyze utilization and adoption data to guide roadmap decisions
  • Collaborate with internal security teams to ensure compliance
  • Work with engineering teams to develop integrations with collaboration tools and internal Facebook products to streamline workflows
  • Engage in tooling and data migration efforts in support of M&A
  • Develop training programs for end users as well as Facebook’s internal Helpdesk team
  • Act as the subject matter expert for G-Suite, provide user training and evangelize collaboration efforts across Facebook

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years experience working with end users to find and build productivity solutions
  • 5+ years experience in Application Management, Solutions Architecture or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience designing and implementing solutions in the collaboration applications space
  • 3+ years experience managing collaboration tools with Google cloud and G-suite in an environment with more than 5,000 users
  • 2+ years experience creating and defining dashboards and tracking product metrics using tools like Tableau, Power BI or internal BI tools

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Info Systems or Data Science
  • 3+ years experience with Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Quip, Workplace, Slack, Dropbox, Asana or any other Project Management tool in an Enterprise environment
  • Communication and leadership skills and experience working with users across teams and functions and to communicate to the entire company
  • Demonstrated project management skills to bring large projects to fruition
  • Experience working with minimal daily guidance
