About the Position

We are looking for a Solution Architect who can help drive the roadmap of our Tax Operations Platform to meet the complex and evolving business needs & new integrations, through technology excellence. The position will be responsible for the technical architecture and works with multiple business areas/IT groups to lead the delivery of major application development projects. The position will be involved in entire development lifecycle from strategy/roadmap to delivery/rollout.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define platform strategy based on evolving business and new integration requirements
  • Define technical architecture and roadmap including appropriate adoption of modern technologies like Cloud
  • Detailed design and delivery planning for application development projects
  • Establish technology standards, code reviews and DevOps maturity
  • Mentoring the team towards technical excellence

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in architecting Java based multi-tier platforms for high volume processing
  • At least 10 years of hands-on application development utilizing the J2EE Java framework
  • Knowledge of full-stack design & development including Spring, SQL/Stored Procedures/DB Design, Performance/Capacity Management, Messaging, Micro-services, Front-end Technologies, Unix Shell & Python Scripting
  • Passion to learn new technologies including Cloud, flair to use technology to solve complex business problems
  • Strong analytical skills and aptitude (as well as interest) to learn the business requirements
  • Effective communication and team skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of Finance Domain and Operations Technology will be preferred (but not mandatory)
