The Technical Project Manager is a hybrid business/technical role that sits on the Client Operations team, which manages client onboarding, integration & implementation, and analytics, and is the central hub between the Business Development, Client Services, and Engineering teams. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of technical initiatives as they relate to brands & retailers on the INTURN platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage implementation timelines for new clients & new features
  • Provide risk assessments to the Business team on product launches and other projects
  • Craft & execute upon INTURN's onboarding, launch, and implementation strategy
  • Act as an advocate on behalf of INTURN’s business team to push engineering initiatives through
  • Develop fluency in INTURN's benefits and features; maintain strong knowledge of product roadmap
  • Own all technical data & image mapping processes
  • Collaborate with Product team to scope & build new features for clients
  • Collaborate with Business Development to ensure the platform meets clients' needs
  • Own the ongoing management of Looker, INTURN’s analytics platform, by ensuring data cleanliness and by creating reports for the business team
  • Think critically to improve upon INTURN’s reporting offering to clients in addition to simply building out reports
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate into client's ERP and other fashion/inventory systems
  • Maintain a high client retention rate by responding to / resolving issues quickly and communicating proactively and effectively
  • Train sellers on the INTURN platform during the onboarding process and own/refine all training documentation
  • Document Client Operations best practices and continually refine/improve upon them

Education

  • BA/BS is required

Key Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a project management role
  • PMI / PMP Certification preferred
  • Familiarity with JSON is helpful but not required
  • Intermediate/expert Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience in retail or off-price preferred but not required
  • Experience using ERP/inventory management systems preferred but not required
  • Experience using Salesforce, Jira, Wrike, and other internal communication/project management tools a plus
  • Whip smart and a quick learner who is comfortable diving into & becoming an expert in new systems
  • Clear and concise communicator who can translate client pain points / requests into language that Product & Engineering can understand
  • Deadline-driven, proactive mentality; someone who doesn't take 'no' for an answer and will break through walls (i.e. if the answer doesn't lie with the person you're speaking to, keep trying different avenues)
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making timely decisions without necessarily having all of the answers
  • Highly analytical; you may not know how to create Macros in Excel, but you're confident that you could learn quickly
