About the position: As a Sales Trainer, your top priority will be giving new and existing sales persons the tools, skills and knowledge they need to be effective in selling Netskope and our security solutions. You will help identify performance issues and provide recommendations for improvements, then execute on those recommendations.  Provide ongoing support by measuring sales representative effectiveness and develop further enablement programs and initiatives to support their continued development and success, both individually and at an aggregate level.
Responsibilities include
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing and other stakeholders to identify, develop, deliver and report on Sales skills training initiatives to support Sales team goals globally and regionally.
  • Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; new hire onboarding; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance.
  • Determine training needs of sales representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers.
  • Develop individual results by maintaining policy and procedure resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources.
  • Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Stay updated with current market trends and the changing demands of the corporate sales environment.
  • Coordinate logistics and support from other stakeholders, subject matter experts and other resources to support training events.
  • Coordinate and schedules pilots, betas and other (pre/post) launch training and enablement activities, including the launch of new offerings and services.
  • Prepare program trend, consumption, regional results and feedback reports for management.
Job Requirements
  • Experience selling Enterprise/SaaS services and products required
  • Experience selling Internet Security Products/Solutions/Services preferred
  • Experience delivering training and coaching to technical and non-technical Sales Professionals on a global and regional scale
  • Familiarity with one or more modern Sales Methodologies (Challenger, Meddic, Force Management, etc) and experience providing training and coaching in support of those methodologies
  • Familiarity with modern Sales Processes and concepts
  • Experience with Camtasia or similar software packages for video editing and packaging
  • Experience working with SFDC to collect data and evaluate rep performance and craft coaching and support materials to drive performance
  • Experience with Content Management Systems like Showpad, Mindtickle or Brainshark to create, deliver and track sales training activities and rep usage
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent coaching skills
  • Familiar with performance management methods
  • Very self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Experience with designing training that includes gamification, role-playing activities and job simulation
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy and/or SAM
  • Experience rolling out Sales Process and Sales Methodology training to a global audience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree desired, advanced degree preferred
