How does this Position help VTS Succeed?

We’re looking for an experienced Senior PR Manager to join our best-in-class Communications team, reporting into our Director of PR and Content. As Senior PR Manager, you’ll play a critical role in leveraging VTS’ proprietary data to craft and execute impactful U.S. and global communications strategies that drive brand awareness and help position VTS on a national stage.

The successful candidate will be an experienced public relations strategist with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You’ll work with a talented, collaborative team of marketers who are making a big impact at VTS and in the commercial real estate industry. You’ll also have the opportunity to work across multiple VTS product lines and bring new, exciting offerings to the market.

What Makes This Job Awesome?
  • Help shape and execute VTS’ global communication strategy across our platform of product offerings
  • Manage our data PR program, leveraging VTS’ data create awareness and long term differentiation of VTS
  • Collaborate with VTS’ PR agency partners to drive projects forward and ensure messaging and strategy are aligned and complementary.
  • Draft and edit documents such as press releases, thought leadership bylines, and blog posts
  • Own VTS’ awards and external speaking program
  • Help manage go-to-market campaigns for significant company events like product launches and corporate announcements
  • Actively seek out news stories relevant to VTS’ expertise and find story angles through which VTS executives can provide meaningful insight
  • Work with executives to ensure they are prepared for speaking opportunities (e.g. keynote addresses and panels) and media interviews
  • Build lasting relationships and pitch ideas to reporters, influencers, VTS clients and key industry professionals and organizations
  • Collaborate with various groups within the marketing organization to ensure VTS’ PR strategy aligns with our broader marketing strategy
  • Be a cross-functional leader who can work with other departments across the company to conceptualize and drive larger projects forward
  • Continually look for ways to optimize VTS’ communications strategy to improve performance and results
What Makes You A Great Fit?
  • 5+ years experience in public relations
  • Background in agency or corporate environments (experience working with technology/business press a plus)
  • Experience using proprietary data to create media coverage
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing
  • An excellent oral and written communicator
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid organization skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines and gracefully juggle multiple projects
  • Capable of working across a fast-moving organization and liaising with different departments
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Suite
  • Proficient presentation skills
  • The willingness to get your hands dirty
