The Sales Compensation Analyst will play a vital role in developing and deploying sales compensation strategies to accelerate Workiva’s growth. This person will collaborate with sales and operations leadership, total rewards, finance, accounting and IT to develop and manage sales compensation across our global organization, and will play an integral role in the implementation and administration of Varicent Sales Incentive Compensation Management at Workiva. The successful candidate in this role should have strong technical skills, enjoy analytical work and problem-solving in a dynamic environment, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple assignments. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate across different functional teams in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Be a vital part of the Sales Operations and Compensation team by supporting Workiva’s global sales compensation programs.
- Participate in the implementation of Varicent Sales Incentive Compensation Management, and support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of this solution.
- Conduct sophisticated analysis of data from multiple sources to build various compensation models. Design reports and tools to use in compensation-related analytics and dashboards
- Assist in the preparation and data analysis for use in executive compensation committee meetings.
- Support the semi-annual planning, creation and issuance of compensation plans
- Handle employee or stakeholder queries/issues and escalate them where appropriate
What You'll Need
Education
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in compensation analysis and administration
- Experience with Varicent, Callidus, Xactly or other Sales Performance Management / Incentive Compensation Management platforms (preferred).
