    Job Overview

    As Deal Desk Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating contract reviews to ensure contract terms align with company priorities, while also developing processes to help the company scale.

    Who are we

    We are a small but experienced Finance team looking for another high-performer to join us. In this role, you will report to the Controller while also collaborating with the Sales department and outside counsel.

    What you'll do

    As you will be directly involved in executing the daily tasks needed as part of this role, you will need to be unafraid of getting into the details while also being able to take a step back and think about what can be done better.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for contracting policy and the deal approval process
    • Partner cross functionally across various stakeholder groups including legal, sales operations, revenue, and finance 
    • Keep company’s best interests in mind while balancing sales efficiency
    • Develop efficient processes to help the Deal Desk function scale
    • Provide internal guidance on deal structures and revenue treatment
    • Partner with GTM leadership in developing pricing strategies
    • Drive process and systems requirements (including CPQ) to implement best-in-class quote-to-order process; provide assistance is closing/managing deals in the systems

    Who you are

    There’s no such thing as a perfect candidate. We expect you to possess some combination of the following:

    • 4+ years of experience in a sales-partnering role (Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting)
    • Collaborative nature
    • Understanding of revenue accounting principles and metrics
    • Attention to detail
    • Proactive mindset
    • Able to balance simultaneous responsibilities while maintaining efficiency
    • Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ
    • Experience in a SaaS start-up a big plus
