About the team and role

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our Technical Content team in the User Experience Organization. The Boomi Technical Content team is a mighty group of writers who strive to deliver accurate, concise, and well-written technical documentation, online help, error messages, UI text, and other content that help our users to perform their tasks.

  • Collaborate cross functionally and with other writers to address customer feedback, maintain internal process documentation, and work on strategic content initiatives.

  • Use software and issue-tracking tools to verify the accuracy of your work in collaboration with a more senior writer.

  • Adapt to a fast-paced, multi-team agile environment with a willingness to manage competing priorities and to learn and grow.

Experience and skills required for this job:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing. You may have written content for enterprise software products, cloud apps, iPaas, developer docs, security technologies, etc.

  • Strong technical aptitude, ability to analyze specifications, research technical concepts, and communicate them clearly and precisely in plain language.

  • Familiarity with structured authoring, DITA-XML, component content management systems, and version control.
