    Job Description

    In this role, you will be a part of the team that supports our clients in the application of Moody’s Analytics Risk Management products.
    This is an opportunity to develop your career within the financial services industry in an exciting region.
    You will obtain a broad knowledge of credit and market risk methodologies by working with the latest breed of financial research. You will also ensure that our products, financial models and technology are used effectively and appropriately to add value to our clients’ businesses.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge about Moody's Analytics Risk Management software products and the environments and platforms they run on.
    • Understand and explain complex financial models on conceptual, intuitive and practical levels.
    • Provide in-depth assistance on product features, functionality and the product technical architecture.
    • Accurately troubleshoot and investigate issues, responding to client demands in a courteous, professional, accurate and timely manner
    • Partner with other subject matter experts to manage a joint resolution to complex queries
    • Drive problems to successful resolution, coordinating the activities of Moody’s internal teams as necessary
    • Identify, capture, and channel client feedback on product features, functionality and the product technical architecture to the Product Managers.
    • Develop excellent working relationships and partner with colleagues within Client Service and in the broader organization
    • Track all client interactions using the CRM system
    • Participate in internal projects

    Qualifications

    • Must be educated to degree (or equivalent) level in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science or similar discipline
    • Knowledge of financial mathematics (e.g. stochastic process, Monte Carlo techniques, derivative pricing, interest-rate modelling) an advantage
    • Understanding of financial statements an advantage
    • 2-3 years’ relevant work experience using or supporting complex technology solutions preferably in the Banking, Financial Services or Financial Vendor sectors
    • Excellent analytical skills and an ability to understand technically complex problems and find solutions via analysis of application log files, SQL procedures and error messages
    • Proficiency in standard Windows-based applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Access)
    • A strong client focused orientation with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume customer satisfaction.
    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties.
