University Relations TA COE Program Manager

Remote: U.S.

Alongside forecasting hiring needs, undertaking interviews and conferring job offers, we advise business leaders on the talent strategy and deliver all TA metrics.

What you’ll achieve

As the program leader and Talent Acquisition’s central point of contact for global university relations programs you will partner with regional TA leadership, UR liaisons and business partners to identify opportunities to elevate our UR outcomes.As a program owner, you will be at the forefront innovating our portfolio into the digital future, including efficiencies, scale, customer experience and results. As a project manager, you will lead the global projects that deliver our annual TA priorities and support ad hoc initiatives throughout the year. As a Global TA COE Program Project Manager you will be responsible for improving how we work and deliver results by helping to identify the right practices, policies, and concepts for global university relations.

You will:

  • Partner with global TA and business stakeholders to guide strategic programs, projects, and other initiatives, including

    • the global UR demand planning exercise for all business units

    • aligning UR operations globally - policy creation, scalable operational and process delivery, Workday and other tool enhancements, and utilization

    • technical and process guidance to ensure consistency to Dell standards, processes, practices, and policies for all UR campus and intern programs, and create and deliver associated trainings.

    • the delivery of key data, metrics and insights to TA leadership and business partners on a regular or ad hoc cadence

  • Deliver full life cycle ownership of a global TA program portfolio and projects, ensuring cross-functional teams work collaboratively and effectively, defining project value proposition, scope, work plan, resource needs, timeline, budget, risk mitigation, success criteria/measurement, delivering on time, and communicating project status, milestones achievements, and risk factors to key partners and leadership.

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of full life cycle experience leading talent acquisition programs, projects, and initiatives operating with an owner mindset to deliver on-time results while focusing on customer experience and mitigating risks.

  • Affinity for prioritizing between strategic initiatives and ad hoc deliverables in a multi-tasking dynamic environment, and comfortable driving timely decision making.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and develop partnerships within TA and across the HR and business organization as a consultant to gain in depth understanding of internal business processes and systems capabilities to identify improvements to existing workflows and results

  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive levels, training facilitation, influencing / change management and expressing viewpoints as a subject matter expert.

Desirable Requirements

  • 2+ years in University Relations would be preferable
