The Director, Medicaid Product Management will focus on Customer Retention and Quality. This Director role will be responsible developing and executing a Retention strategy for the Medicaid portfolio of products and ensuring that the products achieve top tier Quality.

The Director will work cross-functionally in close collaboration with other departments, including Sales and Marketing, Quality and Population Health Management, Enterprise Analytics, Customer Digital; and more. The ideal candidate is obsessed with the customer experience and will be a results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This high performing individual works collaboratively across the organization with a proven ability to build strong cross-functional work teams.

  • Develop multi-year Retention strategy for Medicaid portfolio of products
  • Partner with Finance, Medical Economics and Enterprise Analytics to identify focus areas
  • Work collaboratively within Medicaid Product team to ensure Retention strategy aligns with overall product strategy
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Experience and Customer Digital teams to execute retention strategies and deliver new customer facing engagement tools
  • Main product point of contact with Clinical Quality and Population Health Management to create initiatives to achieve top tier quality across Medicaid portfolio of products
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that achieve budget goals and strategic objectives
  • Deliver substantive insights into the root cause drivers, and drive potential remediation strategies
  • Lead data driven analysis for the Product team to inform decision-making and assess drivers retention and quality
  • Establish, monitor and analyze business Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assess health of the business and identify opportunities to optimize business unit performance
  • Lead a high performing team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful and creative in solving complex issues and working corroboratively with others on a solution
  • Ability to manage people projects and project plans within stated time lines
  • Extensive experience with SAS or SQL (creates queries and manipulation of data including macros, functions, data step and proc sql)
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft excel (building financial models, utilizing pivot tables, vloookups, index match, and calculated fields)
  • Ability to work with large data sets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Medicaid experience
  • Strong business acumen, solid understanding of finance and health plan operations
  • Consulting  experience, with strong project management skills
