We're looking for someone to lead the design and delivery of learning & development initiatives. This person should have a special knack for for creating learning experiences that are practical, have creative flair, and drive to ultimately help people develop their interpersonal skills and their career potential too. We're also looking for a very skilled facilitator with strong communication skills, this person should feel very comfortable facilitating learning experiences for all levels of key stakeholders across Zendesk.
Partner with key stakeholders and HR Business Partners to identify and prioritize learning needs
Design unique and innovative leadership and professional development programs and experiences to support organizational improvement based on insights gathered
Design learning experiences that incorporate real-world simulations and practical applicationDeliver learning programs for people and people leaders for Zendesk with a focus on interpersonal skills development
Deliver on our global learning strategy through the customization of local learning experiences
Identify program metrics and assess program effectiveness & impact in meaningful ways
Interpret local engagement results, partnering with HR Business Partners, to determine appropriate development opportunities
Help establish a strong coaching culture at Zendesk that will enable our people leaders to successfully coach their teams
Significant experience in learning & development both in design and delivery
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Coaching qualification, or equivalent experience desired
Learning design experience preferred
Gamified learning experience preferred
Proven experience in conducting needs analysis and user interviews
Must have proven experience in classroom facilitation
Dynamic and engaging style with excellent written and oral communication across difference audiences and levels
Understanding and experience with global cultures; adept at collaborating effectively with diverse teams
Ability to plan and prioritize effectively to manage projects alongside new requests
Proven ability to effectively coordinate and work across functional teams internally and externally, in-person and virtually
Some international travel required as part of this role.There will be travel required within the US to support our offices in Madison and elsewhere in the U.S., approximately on a quarterly basis
