The Secure Sensor Solutions group is seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable Principal Software Engineer - DevSecOps Lead to implement best DevOps/DevSecOps designs and practices. The ideal candidate will employ Raytheon software development processes.
Leverage company best practices and capabilities to assist programs with deployment, implementation, modernization and support of DevSecOps software solutions
Support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards and scripts to support program needs
Assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across both cloud and on premise computing environments
Provide guidance on software engineering tool hardware infrastructure resource requirements
Assist engineers with DevOps/DevSecOps tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices
Work proactively to complete tasks with some oversight direction
Communicate effectively with team members across disciplines, project management, and customers
Support all the Earn Value (EV) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) activities
Significantly contribute to program and customer meetings and reviews
Function as a Team Lead or Technical Lead to other team members
Minimum of 8+ years’ experience developing software utilizing C, C++, or related tools/languages
Experience developing on Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS
Experience with DevSecOps philosophies
Experience with Coverity or LDRA or other equivalent static analysis tools
Experience with Containerization and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with Earned Value
Hardware / software integration experience
Experience in every phase of the software development life-cycle
Strong knowledge of Software Development Processes
U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position needs an active DoD SECRET or higher clearance as of day one of employment
Use of industry-standard hardware, middleware and development tools to streamline development and integration
Utilizing COTS tools on radar systems to create portable, extensibility secure systems
Experience with Continuous Integration methodologies
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related STEM degree from accredited university.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
