Employment: Full Time Experience: Lead

This position is within the VIP Development Team. The candidate will be responsible for design and implementation of multi-tiered enterprise web applications as well as web services.

•The candidate would be actively participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing.
•Additionally, the candidate would also be actively involved in deployment of web application and services to data centers and AWS as well as helping resolve technical issues faced by customers while using the product.
•The candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science with a sound understanding of data structures, objected oriented programming, algorithms and database technologies.
•Strong Java development skills and prior experience in developing Java Web Applications and Web Services is required
•The candidate must have good communication skills - both written and verbal in English
•Must be a motivated self starter and a quick learner
*Qualifications
• 8 - 10 years of hands on experience designing / implementing high volume, highly available and reliable software architectures.
•Minimum 5+ years of Solid Java development experience including web applications and web services. C/C++ experience would be a plus.
•Knowledge of databases, SQL optimization, DB Schema optimization and Oracle tuning is preferred.
•Experience with Apache, Tomcat Web Server is required
•Experience with Linux, Windows is required
•Exposure to the following technologies is preferred: Hibernate, JPA, JDBC, SQL, Spring, Struts, JUnit, Ant, XML, XSL
•Experience in Web 2.0 development (HTML/CSS, DOM, JAVASCRIPT, AJAX, JQuery, etc) is desired
•Masters or Bachelors program in computer science or related field. Preferred
•Familiarity with Agile software development approaches such as XP, Scrum is desired
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•A strong Computer Science foundation is necessary
