VENDOR MANAGEMENT ANALYST

We are looking for a Vendor Management Analyst to help grow our Security Vendor Management program. Do you thrive in an environment where keeping your company’s data secure helps you sleep at night? Can you think through all the risks posed by a potential vendor and devise appropriate custom solutions to minimize Zendesk’s exposure?

What you get to do every day:
  • Participate in the Company’s overall security program by evaluating the security posture of potential third party vendors.
  • Own and manage the Security Vendor Management program, and coordinate between the various internal business stakeholders and external third vendors.
  • Streamline internal processes to make it more seamless for the business and efficient for our partners.
  • Track all the vendors and their associated information to produce high quality metrics for Senior Management Inspire application owners to do the right thing using diplomacy and tact in all interactions.
  • Thrive in an environment that is dynamic and constantly changing
What you bring to the role:
  • BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years experience in risk-based role.
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud architecture, security challenges, and associated mitigations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of recent industry related security risks, breaches and trendsAble to rapidly adapt to new tools used in day to day work to include systems like Jira, Confluence, Zendesk, etc.
  • Able to effectively work with technical and non technical resources.
  • Ability to work in an environment where you may not have perfect information all the time.
  • Proven experience managing high risk vendor security assessments is preferred.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, attention to detail, and a healthy desire for collaboration, using your strong organizational skills and diplomacy in all interactions both in and out of our organization.
  • Comfortable presenting and communicating issues and challenges to Business and Executive Management.
