Test Systems Engineer
We’re looking for a dynamic, assertive, hands-on Lead Test Engineer for the Test Engineering organization. The Business Area Lead Test Engineer (BALTE) role serves as the Test Engineering group’s primary technical interface to the Business Area Program Management groups.
Manage the interface and communications between the Test Engineering organization and the Operations Program Management (OPM) and Program Management (PM) organizations.
Derive, disseminate, and manage contractual and program test requirements.
Manage program maturity status and transition to test efforts.
Manage new production contract proposals to ensure project costs, risks, and dependencies are accurately captured.
Perform project management for program specific test development projects.
An ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited Bachelor's of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
Must have strong electrical engineering skill set in digital and RF electronics engineering.
Project engineering/management experience with multi-disciplined technical efforts.
PMP certification or equivalent Project Management certification desired.
5+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
Experience in product life-cycle management.
Understanding of requirements management, subsystem and system integration, development/operational testing, logistics/supportability, producibility, configuration management, and quality assurance processes.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.
