Billing Analyst

About the Job:

Own pub side billing. Audience buy and user-matching accounting. Pull reports from our own systems; third party systems; and, the accounting platform. Reply to clients, auditors and partner companies. Search for and analyze discrepancies. Reply to other LiveIntent departments.


NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel

  • Own pub side billing. Enter billable delivery data for direct sold agreements.
  • Generate and review third party media delivery reports for billing entry and analysis.
  • Review and reconcile billing discrepancies. Enter credits/invoice adjustments into NetSuite, as required. Work with collections.
  • Liaise with client finance contacts regarding billing discrepancies and issues.
  • Work with Account Management team to communicate, manage, and enforce billing expectations with clients.
  • Communicate and reply to auditors.
  • Minimum of 1 year ad operations, billing, or finance experience -- preferably in online advertising, direct marketing or local advertising sales.
  • BA or BS Degree or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate positioning at all decision-making levels to internal and external clients.
  • Self-motivated team player and problem solver that can help solve individual and team problems.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong decision-making, organization, planning and problem solving skills with proven ability to identify and prioritize critical issues.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity and meeting deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and v-lookup).
  • Experience with SaaS Based Accounting Systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) is ideal.
Pluses to have:
  • SQL (running queries)
  • Experience with advertising specific platforms (Dart and Sizmek)
  • Salesforce experience
