Salesforce Business Development

As a Manager, Business Development at Sapient Global Markets, you will identify and build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients.The Salesforce Business Development team member builds strong, trusted relationships with clients around the implementation of and is the primary liaison with the client executives and project sponsors. This individual is expected to work with counterparts from to sell new projects.

A Salesforce Business Development Manager is able to effectively communicate with clients at all levels, quickly assess their business needs, translate these needs into solutions, accurately scope and estimate implementation effort and negotiate/close deals. In addition, they will provide leadership, management and mentoring to other members of our team. Our ideal candidate will have several years consulting in the CRM space, deep experience leading the implementations of complex projects and have strong business development acumen. Experience in the commodities/energy space is a big plus!

Desired skills and experience

10 years of overall experience (comprised of the following):

4+ years of CRM consulting experience preferably in the energy space

3+ years of experience managing external client projects

3+ years hands on experience that demonstrates a proven

Ability to accurately scope, estimate and propose projects heavily desired.

3+ years leading dynamic and highly effective teams

Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP

Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems

Analytical approach to identifying business challenges; visionary and creative approach towards their solutions.

Openness to travel and work at client site when necessary.

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in business, finance or technology related field.
