Manager: Learning, Talent & Culture Strategy

The Manager LTC Strategist role is responsible for working with the the business, People team partners, and other internal teams to identify and learning priorities and deliver programs that help our people create transformative impact with our clients for their customers. This role has a learning strategy emphasis, and will work primarily on the design, development and impact strategy for our global learning curriculum for the Project Management discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Measurement, and Adoption of Programs

In collaboration with internal resources and outside vendors, , including the program director and business stakeholder of the PM training program, conceptualize and propose learning solutions that incorporate best practices in adult learning and instructional design theories

Create learning objectives based on outcomes of needs assessment that link learning outcomes to business outcomes

Manage internal and external instructional design resources to create course content that meets program vision and desired timeframes

Designs and implements multi-level measurement approaches that demonstrates the business impact of learning programs, including deliverables that demonstrate the qualitative and quantitative impact of those programs.

Connects work with existing Talent Management and people team processes, leveraging existing resources and content for efficiency.

Liaise between internal teams and the business to develop and implement communication plans for learning and talent programs to raise awareness about training programs offered, benefits of participation, target audience, and ensure alignment between strategy and learning

  • Program Management

Develops low-to-high-level plans for all phases of program development and ongoing optimization of the Project Management learning program exclusive of training course development

Coordinates the work of internal teams and outside partners against plans and budget

Sends progress reports to team and escalates risks appropriately

Stakeholder Management

Represents the Learning,Talent and Culture function to the business, and represents the business interests of their internal clients to the people teams with a trusted partner mindset.

Develops an understanding of the business, services and value propositions we offer to clients and engages in conversations about business planning, personal challenges, and development needs

Works collaboratively to surface and set and manage expectations. resolve conflicts, and manage risks.

  • Other Skills/Abilities:

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Strong Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills (charts, graphs, pivot tables, video, animation)

Knowledge of Captivate, Articulate, and other online courseware strongly desired.

Able to communicate complex concepts verbally and in writing

Experience working in a global organization, including direct communication with mid-to-senior level managers.
