Employment: Full Time Experience: Senior

We are looking to hire a Global Security Manager who's passionate about keeping our employees, building operations, and assets free from danger; all while contributing to and protecting our company culture. This position leads the management for all corporate physical security, security operations, investigations, crisis management, and strategy/communications services. They will serve as the enterprise thought leader and subject matter expert for physical security, incident management, and security operations globally.

  • Manage day-to-day security, with particular focus on the headquarter office in San Francisco
  • Serve as a front line crisis manager in the San Francisco office during incidents
  • Create security protocols and guidelines to include (but not limited to) physical security design for new and existing offices, security guard operations and deployment, technical security solutions
  • Supervise all security vendors against Zendesk-issued KPIs and expectations
  • Oversee all security projects, including those connected to office builds
  • Arrange security awareness training programs
  • Provide additional operational support and guidance to the regional security teams
  • Investigate incidents and provide well-articulated reports, briefings, and action recommendations
  • Risk management mitigation and analysis
  • Collaborate with key partners to build innovative and creative security strategies
  • Ensure compliance with Regional/Global Standards and Programs
  • Work with other Security Site Managers and Security Operations Manager to improve security policies, standards and practices and build a safe and secure environment for our employees and guests
  • Effectively handle client issues and concerns
  • Event Security
  • 5+ years experience managing safety operations, in technology or creative office environments
  • Bachelor’s degree Experience with S2 security system highly desired
  • Experience developing security programs and incident response plans
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Knowledge of and comfort with global technical security monitoring systems necessary
  • Understands/reads architectural plans and experience planning security designs
  • Must be highly adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively cross-functionally
