Syndio is looking for an experienced, motivated, and data-driven Senior Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager to help us build this critical function. This is a vital role reporting into the Head of Growth Marketing that will work across marketing, sales, finance and business operations. This role owns the marketing performance reporting and analytics process, and the data model that enables the creation of KPI Metrics and dashboards. In this role, you will have responsibility for optimizing the lead flow process--owning attribution and funnel metrics--as well as ROI management and strategic planning support for the marketing team. This role will evaluate and implement the right marketing technology stack to set Syndio up for scale. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise on establishing a solid foundation to support scalable processes and reporting needs for high growth, B2B SaaS marketing organizations.

Core responsibilities

  • Partner with the Marketing leadership team to evolve core go-to-market strategy with world class analytics and reporting, developing the marketing reporting structure and analytics roadmap.
  • Partner with the Head of Growth Marketing, VP of Marketing and other organizational leaders to set, manage and execute on the annual planning process and help illustrate marketing results and business impact by providing relevant data and insights.
  • Partner with Demand Generation team and Sales Operations to optimize our lead process to increase qualified lead flow (lead conversions rates, opportunities, pipeline and revenue generation).
  • Drive the development, implementation, and optimization of a data-driven lead scoring model, helping to prioritize the leads that have the highest propensity to buy.
  • Own the multi-attribution model and develop a method for refinement and optimization.
  • Own the business requirements for the marketing technology stack to ensure end-to-end data flow and that the right systems are in place to support business needs.
  • Provide business insights, reports and tools that will lead to better prioritization and higher team productivity and optimize return on investment.
  • Responsible for enabling all marketing teams with dashboards and analytics.
  • Work closely with Finance, Marketing leadership, Sales and Business Operations to forecast budgets, set goals, and help define the company’s strategy.

About you

  • You have 5+ years of marketing operations and analytics experience at a B2B SaaS company.
  • You are a strategic, structured thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • You are a data expert with an aptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements.
  • You are able to query and scope, analyze and model (Excel/GSheet), summarize (pivot tables, charts, slides, written explanation), and report (dashboards, repositories, Tableau), articulating data in a way that others can understand
  • You have the ability and passion to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems effectively and consistently.
  • You have the ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while dealing with ambiguity.
  • You have experience with core BI, marketing, and sales tools - Salesforce, Tableau, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Marketo, to name a few.

Role progression

  • Within 1 month, you’ll complete a comprehensive and supportive onboarding process to help you understand the business, the customer journey, and the market landscape. You will establish relationships with the sales and marketing teams and key functional partners across the organization.
  • Within 2 months you’ll have a good handle on our marketing tools to track results and manage our marketing activities, and identify areas of opportunity to improve.
  • Within 4-5 months, you will be able to identify any gaps in our MQL funnel from lead source all the way to SQO and implement a plan to fix and optimize. You’ll also have a plan on what marketing technology we need to implement to meet our business objectives.
  • Within 6 months you are fully integrated into the team and have a good handle on how we work and operate and are delivering against your plan.
  • In 12 months we will wonder what we ever did without you.
