In an effort to protect client assets, provide a safe and secure banking environment, and minimize financial loss to the Firm from systematic security risk, the Fraud Operations Team, as the firm’s 1st line of defense, is tasked with implementing the firm fraud strategy, continuously enhancing fraud controls with the existing and acquired businesses, monitoring client account activities, investigating fraud incidents, managing targeted fraud attack events, mitigating potential fraud losses, performing root cause analysis and lessons learned, and educating employee and clients to raise fraud awareness.

The Fraud Alerts Team is the Firm’s first line of defense for monitoring suspicious transactions as part of the Fraud Operations Department. The team is responsible for the timely identification, and immediate investigation of activity that of transfers that do not meet Firm requirements for real time reflection within Firm systems. The team serves as the Firm's subject matter experts for all payment activities and provides training and awareness to the payment community globally.

Primary Responsibilities

We are seeking a results-oriented Vice President, who will work with the Executive Director of Global Fraud Alerts to lead the NA region to support our Wealth Management client base. The successful candidate will lead multiple fraud alerts teams, execute on strategic and integration initiatives, support associate engagement, drive efficiency and ensure appropriate fraud alerts coverage.
Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leadership of front-line production managers
  • Drive the improvement of day-to-day operational processes to reduce fraud alert response times and enhance the client experience
  • Build a culture of accountability and autonomy by empowering associates to identify issues, dependencies, and to make decisions
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to enhance/design the technology necessary to automate and streamline processes
  • Partner with analytics teams to design on-demand reporting and dashboards
  • Oversee control enhancements/process changes required as a result of flash fraud events
  • Coordinate efforts during targeted fraud attack events within NA Alerting Operations
  • Design and execute on mitigation activities in response to KPI misses
  • Identify, track and react to client experience issues with solutions
  • Manage the highest-level escalations
  • Establish and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Develop associates and future leaders
  • Manage employee issues with sensitivity, empathy, and fairness
