Our Summer Intern Program runs from June to September, recruiting has started!

One of the roles we are recruiting for is a Software Engineering Intern to support the Simulation team. This intern will participate in GUI and Tools development, while helping design and implement a web application system. Additionally, the individual will also participate in simulation software release process, perform software integration test, design test automation and keep track defects using bug tracking tool.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with Simulation GUI and tools development and integration. Working together with a senior engineer on design and implementation details.
- Participate in software validation process; develop unit test and automation test.
- Follow agile development process, attend daily stand up meeting.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Pursing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a four-year college/university
- Extensive experience in web development, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP
- Solid programming skill (JAVA and C++)
- Experience working in a Linux environment and proficient in shell scripts
- Experience with defect tracking tools (i.e. JIRA), version control systems (i.e. GIT)
- Knowledge about software development process and methodology such as Agile
- Be organized, work in a fast paced environment and be able to solve
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Good documentation skills
- Self –motivated, critical thinker with a technical background
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams
