We are seeking a PR Coordinator to join our incredible marketing organization here at Stash. This position will own the development of our marketing communications and public relations strategy, as well as the execution of said plan. Reporting into the Senior Manager of PR & Marketing Communications, the PR Coordinator will help manage all external PR relationships, implement marketing communications, and PR guidelines and will identify and develop partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities.

What you'll do:
Help manage and execute strategic and creative planning of public relations campaigns and projects in collaboration with Senior Manager
Build and foster relationships with a network of influencers, bloggers, and consumer media, across all areas of the Money and Lifestyle landscape, as well as more regional focuses and efforts (i.e., college campuses, local news, etc.). Create content for press releases, byline articles, and external presentations
Pitch new ideas, amplify content and social concepts, to propel brand awareness while representing the brand voice and staying consistent with current trends and media opportunities
Assist in the organization, coordination, and production of all events including press events (speaking engagements/panels, press briefings and press office visits) and conferences (booth and brand appearances)
Own targeted media outlet research and list creation and management
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications or Journalism
2+ years of experience in marketing or communications
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communications skills
Proven ability to develop engaging and effective copy for diverse audiences around a wide range of topics
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
Event planning experience
