About the Role

  • Commitment to working all scheduled hours. In our service focused business, being ready to work at the start of a work day and complete your entire shift is an essential function and responsibility
  • Attend to customer interactions in a prompt, courteous and professional manner, with a commitment to identify each customer’s question, problem, or concern. Our goal is to fully and correctly identify and resolve customer issues in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Accurately record and document all customer interactions through Bike Share systems regardless of the source
  • Participate in Bike Share Call Center Training to understand and develop proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
  • Work closely, respectfully and collaboratively with all Motivate employees, Customers, vendors and managers to fulfill Customer Service expectations
  • Other duties and functions as assigned by Customer Service Management.

About You

A qualified Call Center Agent is professional and patient, with a great demeanor. Successful Motivate Call Center Agents have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the flexibility to work a service focused schedule. At Motivate, Call Center Agents have great attention to detail and work quickly and efficiently to identify and resolve customer issues, questions and/or concerns.

  • You are flexible with your schedule: Motivate “Key Holders” (our customers) have access to our bikes 24/7, so our Call Center schedules may vary to support our 24/7 bike sharing operations.
  • You display excellent customer service skills, interpersonal communication skills, and attention to detail and ability and desire to work collaboratively with Motivate employees, customers and vendors
  • You have experience in technical troubleshooting, identifying and resolving customer related issues
  • You have the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, identifying issues and developing solutions consistent with company policies and procedures
  • You have experience with computer-based systems, including Google Drive, Gmail, ZenDesk, TalkDesk

Bonus points

  • Previous experience with navigational software with GPS
  • Love of biking and bikeshare
  • Previous experience in a start up or fast paced environment
