Essential Job Functions Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results 65% Manage and execute internal email efforts to drive consumer revenue and support revenue-generating initiatives • Maximize subscription efforts for select magazines and partner programs • Drive orders for paid memberships associated with various digital brands • Develop a contact strategy to maximize the email channel for consumer revenue initiatives while balancing the need to increase engagement from the channel as well • Define criteria for list selection for campaigns • Implement testing schedule and priorities • Manage creative development with internal creative teams • Work with Consumer Revenue team to align offers and objectives • Develop and execute new test ideas to attain goals • Provide detailed reporting and analysis of programs 15% Coordinate with internal teams across Meredith Digital and Consumer Revenue to achieve business goals • Support programs focused on driving email engagement and other initiatives to generate increased advertising revenue • Work independently with internal GMs, other email managers, and marketing teams across the organization 10% Stay current with Email Best Practices, tools and legislation • Stay current on industry news and trends that affect email deliverability and conversion rates • Understand CAN-SPAM and other current and proposed legistration that may impact email marketing • Maintain compliance of all outbound marketing emails 10% All other projects as required to meet sales and traffic goals.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered. Education: Bachelors Degree preferably in Marketing or Business ; equivalent training or experience Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a related field. Interactive marketing experience preferred. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of direct marketing, interactive marketing, web site design/development, and email marketing software. HTML experience a plus.
