The Business Marketing organization drives the narrative around Facebook for Business and our Ads and Partnerships solutions across a variety of audiences, products, and vertical segments around the world. The Vice President, Global Customer Marketing will help unlock growth with our marketers, advertisers, and partners through the development and delivery of in-market marketing strategy and plans.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading a robust marketing strategy implemented in all global markets - North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, along with key audiences including Small to Medium Sized Businesses, Business Partnerships, Agencies, Verticals and Large Global Brands. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and implementing across digital channels, creative and collateral development, events, sponsorships, and more. You will be responsible for leading and growing a large multi-national team and managing a budget to ensure the team delivers impact.
The successful candidate will lead Meta’s high-performance, high-creativity, highly collaborative global environment. This role will own the global marketing strategy to drive audience engagement, advance brand recognition and consumer trust, and effectively tell the story of advancing social and economic empowerment for businesses big and small through leveraging the suite of tools and services that Meta has to offer.

  • Lead a global organization across North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, along with leading global audience teams including Small to Medium Sized Businesses, Business Partnership Ecosystem, Agencies, Verticals and Large Global Brands to do the best work of their careers, across industry leading creative campaigns, insightful thought leadership, systematic frameworks, and unparalleled storytelling and marketing
  • Demonstrate marketing prowess across a wide range of marketing channels, creative, collateral development, events, sponsorships, B2B media buying, social media, case studies, and creative teams
  • Drive the strategy with key cross functional partners in legal, privacy, communications, consumer marketing, product teams and the public policy team
  • Lead new product launches in partnership with business product marketing and product teams
  • Responsible for leading and growing a large global team and managing a budget to ensure the team delivers impact across GBM
  • Act as a spokesperson on key topics including the marketing and advertising industry, DE&I focus areas, leadership and more
  • Interface with C-level executives across the company sharing strategies, ideas and solutions
  • Oversee and report on the efficacy of all marketing efforts across a range of audiences and initiatives
  • Represent Global Business Marketing as a cultural leader to all parts of the organization and external industry, partnering with agencies and clients along with internal business functions
  • Continually inspire our clients and partners with a vision for their brand and storytelling across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger)
  • Manage business functions of the team to ensure resourcing, hiring, vendor management, and processes are all optimized


  • 20+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Experience activating Marketing at scale through, and with, sales teams and partners
  • Knowledge and first-hand experience in global markets and their advertising and marketing industries
  • Experiencing developing narratives and command a room and engage audiences from a variety of perspectives
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment, including expertise in leading through others and a track record of leading successful cross functional programs
  • Creativity, energy and significant analytical and marketing rigor experience
  • Experience managing creative and media departments along with external agencies
  • Experience in managing 300+ full time employees
  • Experience working directly with engineering and product to develop solutions
  • Experience and knowledge of audience segments (businesses, agencies, marketing partners, policy, influencers, consumers)
  • Experience in handling high profile press and industry engagements
  • Experience in operational efficiency through automation of tools and processes
