As a HR Technologies Technical Operations Resource, you will be responsible for operating and administering the Avature ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platform in Avanade’s Talent Acquisitions space. In addition to ensuring the stability of the platform, you will be responsible for understanding the business processes we support and helping to find solutions for both production issues and enhancements.

Day-to-day you will:

Support responsibilities:

Be a technical Subject Matter Expert for Avanade’s Avature implementation

Provide global system administration and support internal users of the Avature system

  • Translate business requirements to configuration specifications
  • Ensure successful implementation of minor system enhancements/configuration changes
  • Perform QA and testing on all system enhancements/changes
  • Manage Tier 3 support tickets and problem resolution in a timely manner
  • Maintain data integrity by performing regular audits
  • Ensure successful integration with other Avanade and external systems
  • Write and maintain system related documentation
  • Ad Hoc Project Support
  • Collaborate with the program manager to ensure client needs are being met
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Respond to system inquiries and troubleshoot reported issues, and provide ongoing technical and user support

Project responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation of new tools and systems in the Talent Acquisition space, execution of testing and training tasks
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and training materials
  • Create test cases, organize testing workbooks and user guides, prepare and/or create data to enable testing
  • Communicate effectively across teams to meet project timelines


  • Minimum of 3 years of Avature system admin experience
  • Must have a core understanding of HR business processes including full cycle recruiting
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Knowledge of HR systems (specifically in the Talent Acquisition space)
  • Savvy analytic and problem solving skills
  • Experience identifying and resolving issues independently (e.g. troubleshooting)
  • Systems support experience, including system testing and system implementation activities
  • Possess a customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
  • Consistent delivery and follow through on commitments
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS SharePoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Education Background:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, communication, technology, or relevant field

Preferred Years of Work Experience:
You will likely have 8-10+ years of experience in HR, and preferably experience with HRIS administration
