The Audit Analyst role will be the point of initial finance review of expense reporting exceptions triggered by the Concur Detect and Concur Expense platforms. The focus will be on the validity of submitted receipts and the adherence to policy compliance for all reports. This position will be key in providing guidance to employees, as well as serving as a point of escalation for non-compliant reports. As Dow Jones provides shared services to entities within the News Corp organization, this hire will tasked with providing the highest level of customer service.
Review all exceptions flagged during initial review through use of the Concur Detect tool
Monitor report exceptions within Concur in order to escalate compliance issues for management and/or HR review
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and clarifications, both policy and system related
Provide feedback to management for focus areas for training and education
Following instructions & procedures: it is essential that this hire appropriately follow the policies and procedures to ensure that financial processes are carried out in-line with the obligations/service level agreements.
Customer relations: you must be highly focused on delivering against your stakeholder’s requirements, ensuring that the quantity and quality of your work is to a high standard at all times.
Monitor and create audit rules/exceptions within Concur platform, as required
Identify potential issues and work to mitigate traveler impacts
Quickly identify solutions for recurring issues or problems and escalate for training purposes
Assist in special or ad hoc projects as required.
3+ years’ experience within the T&E, AP/Finance or Audit function desired.
Customer facing experience required
Experience in using Concur Expense Management System a plus
Knowledge of the Business Travel Industry a plus
Competent Microsoft Office user (Excel a must -test will be required, PowerPoint, Word a plus)
