Key components of this Business Process Manager include business process and project management. The person in this role will help evaluate and make improvements to business processes for projects inspired by our internal teams across Members Acquisitions Retention Sales (MARS) department. The BPM will help implement projects initiated by MARS teams or also actively identify and recommend improvement opportunities. She/he may help document current or new processes and improvements, forecast expected results of process changes, analyze implemented changes and make further adjustments to workflow, schedules or other processes as required. The responsibilities include handling all aspects and completion of projects on time, within scope, within budget. You will work directly with business owners (team managers) to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will handle cross functional support when needed and coordinate accordingly to ensure all aspects of each project are completed on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of projects across MARS and aim for results that supports business goal
  • Manage all internal MARS projects by actively partnering with the leader of each team
  • Build and maintain effective relationships, including staying in alignment with management
  • Present strategic insights and recommendations and help drive solutions
  • Gather, document business requirements from business leaders and or SMEs and translate to actionable items to drive execution of projects
  • Actively participate in the quarterly prioritization & planning, compile concise business cases to ensure resources allocation for all projects
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Lead changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report results updates for team and manager on a regular cadence
  • Report and call out to management as needed
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or degree and equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of relative work experience
  • Shown working experience in project management and business process management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-project execution skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Strong working understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, results oriented, ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results with little to no direction from direct manager
  • Leadership presence/influence with ability to help implement new ideas and achieve team alignment and goals
  • Ability to prioritize work with a sense of urgency and manage people and issues in a professional demeanor
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and ability to hold team members accountable without direct reporting relationship
  • Background in technology and broad business insight desired
