Adam McCarty

Adam McCarty is a results-driven operations manager and business consultant with over a decade of experience across the public, private, and military sectors. Currently leading the Veteran Relations & Operations at the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA), Adam is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with Certified Veteran’s Business Enterprises®, Corporate Allies®, and NaVOBA’s Partner Organizations. Adam is also charged with overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and driving cross-functional collaboration to meet strategic organizational goals. His leadership has improved operational efficiency, streamlined budgeting processes, and strengthened vendor relationships through effective negotiation.

Before joining NaVOBA, Adam served as a Business Operations Consultant for XL Associates where he advised on business process management and administrative functions for the Drug Enforcement Administration. Adam is a Veteran of the United States Army where he served as a 14H Enhanced Early Warning Systems Operator with the PATRIOT Missile Defense Systems. His military background as a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) equipped him with exceptional skills in personnel management, risk mitigation, and logistical coordination. During his Army tenure, Adam managed teams of over 30 personnel and oversaw risk for complex Air & Missile Defense systems valued at over $10 million. His ability to lead under pressure, coupled with a keen focus on compliance and security, has been a hallmark of his career.
