She co-founded GroThru as a way to offer education and resources at exceptionally affordable prices - giving Black & LatinX entrepreneurs the competitive advantage they deserve. We sit down with Mecca to discuss her journey of building a community of founders beating the odds.
Mecca Imani is the founder of GroTru, a resource platform giving Black and LatinX entrepreneurs an advantage. Mecca's mission is to provide an equal playing field for Black and LatinX entrepreneurs to gain access to funding and resources to help their businesses grow and scale. GroTru was founded in 2022 after Mecca became extremely passionate about contributing to social change within her community. As founder and CEO of GroTru, mecca oversees the company's outreach, daily progress and making strategic decisions for GroTru. Mecca believes that investing is a key component of achieving long-term financial security and building wealth. To date, Mecca has been recognized for her contribution to social change in NJ. With many partnerships with local businesses to help make entrepreneurship for Black and LatinX founders more accessible and equitable.
