NBC Universal is embarking on a major employee experience transformation by rolling out Microsoft O365 to all employees and businesses on a global scale. We are seeking a detailed oriented leader to help manage all work streams across the company.

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing mid to high-level programs to rollout Microsoft O365 and email to all NBC Universal employees (global) under the Enterprise Applications team. This individual will work directly with a multi-disciplinary, multi-function group of technologists and business professionals to develop and deliver against the plan. This role will be engaging with all businesses to sell the platform and enable them for success. This role will report into the VP, UX & Collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers timely, effective, easily understandable, concise program deliverables including program plans, governance plans and presentations, project calendars, budget reviews, cross-project dependencies, risks analyses and mitigation, key performance indicators (KPIs), stakeholder coordination and status communication via multiple mediums.
  • Communicate across audiences, effectively understanding and utilizing escalation paths, and updating executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technical rollouts and features to non-technical audiences. Can sell the product.
  • Handle high volume workloads and provide exceptional customer support.
  • Accountable for driving delivery of projects and programs from start to finish.
  • Successfully manages 3rd party vendors and contractors when required.
  • Drive sprints and scrums across various teams
  • Independently manage teams and help groups problem solve and tackle
  • Facilitate meetings, discussions and document key decisions made
  • Manage tight deadlines

Must haves:

  • Experience rolling out Microsoft O365 to large scale enterprise companies.
  • Ability to work on multiple teams in highly autonomous environments.
  • Displays a competency in managing multiple projects.
  • Program Management expertise and experience.
  • Detailed oriented, task master and communicator
  • Aligns and leads project teams to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Manages work with practicality and wisdom in the midst of competing priorities and diverse personalities. Operates independently with guidance from key stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 7+ years of applicable experience in a technology environment, preferably for a large company. Demonstrated success in the delivery of multiple projects and programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern software development and infrastructure tools, processes and practices.
  • Education
  • BA/BS in business, computer science preferred or other technical field or appropriate work experience
