About the role:
Develop and optimize the mobile version of Plex VR.
Prototype, design and implement new features and experiences in Unity.
Ensure great performance while delivering an interactive VR media playback experience.
Work collaboratively with artists and other developers to create exciting new features.
Help shape the future of VR and AR with Plex.
Who You Are:
You’re kind, helpful, smart, get stuff done, have great energy, and thrive in a startup environment.

You’re a software engineer with experience working in groups, but with the ability to work independently.
You believe in asking for help and helping others when they ask, never throwing a problem over the wall.
You thrive in a fast paced environment, with an ability to be nimble and shift priorities as called for in a dynamic space.
You are hungry to have an impact, continuously working to improve our product, process and push the team to be it’s best.
You are familiar with virtual reality, at least as a user.
You have several years of experience with C# and the Unity game engine.
You have a deep understanding of Unity, including having built and shipped one or more apps/games with Unity (existing portfolio), expertise with performance profiling/optimization, physics and lighting/rendering, and experience with the UI tools of the engine.
You have a high bar for development fundamentals including version control, testing and issue tracking
In Addition, It would be Great if:
You have experience building VR/AR apps, profiling and optimizing Unity mobile apps, and developing multimedia apps.
You have exposure to game design including levels/environments, user interactions and innovative game mechanics.
You have graphics programming experience with C/C++, DirectX, OpenGL ES and writing native plugins for Unity.
You’re comfortable working on small, remote/distributed teams.
