Leading at the Intersections: Redefining Black Excellence Through Belonging and Voice
Amplifying Black Excellence
In this fireside chat, Dr. Lola Adeyemo, Inclusive Workplace Strategist and founder and CEO of EQImindset, explores how leaders navigate identity, visibility, and influence while building cultures rooted in belonging and voice. Drawing on her lived experience, doctoral research, and work advising HR, DEI, and People leaders, she reframes belonging as an active leadership practice rather than a passive value. The conversation examines what it means to lead at the intersections and challenge narrow, burnout-driven definitions of excellence. Dr. Lola also shares how leaders can create space for authentic voice and meaningful impact at work. Attendees will leave with practical insights on how intentional, inclusive leadership drives engagement, resilience, and sustainable success.
