Meet the Speakers
Vanessa Youngs is a Vice President of Global Inclusion at Moody’s where she develops and communicates the inclusion strategy across the organization and is the contact for strategic partners supporting, women, black heritage, neurodiverse employees, and veterans.
Vanessa joined Moody’s in 2012 as a member of the Public Finance Group Surveillance Team and most recently, she served as a Vice President-Strategic Planner for the Office of the Moody’s Ratings President, building and executing strategic priorities across business lines and geographies.
Previously, Vanessa was a White House Intern for the National Economic Council focusing on the role of women and African Americans in the economy. Before that, she worked for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget as a senior revenue analyst.
Vanessa received her Master of Science in Urban Policy and Management from the New School University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Economics and Business from Lafayette College.
Vanessa also is on the Board of Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, PA, and is on the Executive Board of Northeast Women in Public Finance. She is the virtual host and Trustee of Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, NY.
