Salesforce is hiring a Senior Specialist, Communciations Data Insights for the Corporate Communications team.
The role is a dedicated analyst for the Go-To-Market Communications team, focused on evaluating program impact across communications channels, identifying trends and opportunities, and converting insights into easy-to-understand recommendations that inform communications priorities and tactics.
The ideal candidate has a background in communications/public relations (PR) and data analytics, project management experience, and the ability to communicate confidently to executives. This person thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and knows how to build relationships and influence change.
Responsibilities include:
- Be a dedicated partner to the product comms team, focusing on building relationships, understanding priorities, and delivering data-driven recommendations that reflect an understanding of team needs.
- - Gather results across communications channels (earned, owned, social, video, paid), identify trends and opportunities, and effectively communicate the value of a cross-channel approach in achieving communications outcomes.
- Bring an outcome focused approach, and use results + data to influence team members on the most impactful tactics/channels to achieve intended outcomes.
- Lead a Data Champions program to empower PR practitioners with self-serve tools, via both continual education and reinforcement of existing tools, and via identifying new tools to address evolving needs.
- Be an amazing administrator, skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, working well under pressure, adhering to a consistent methodology, and keeping measurement tools, dashboards and infrastructure up-to-date.
- Effectively guide work managed by others and communicate with stakeholders, sharing project timelines and adapting to shifting needs.
- Constantly look for opportunities to innovate, including piloting new AI tools and technologies.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in communications, PR and/or data insights, either in-house or at an agency.
- Experience measuring communications programs and results, including media relations, web analytics, video and social. Familiarity with industry-standard measurement tools.
- Ability to present data-driven insights in a clear and concise way to team members.
- An understanding of the interplay between earned, owned and paid channels
- Experience working with or managing external agencies
- Be an amazing administrator, skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, working well under pressure,
- Self-starter who is comfortable managing their initiatives autonomously
- Thinks on their feet and approaches ambiguity with exceptional judgment.
- Jumps in to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $100,100 to $137,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $109,200 to $150,200.
