As the Endoscopy Assistant II, you will assist with room preparation and turnover, maintenance of a sterile environment, and assisting the clinicians with minor operative and surgical procedures in the Endoscopy Department. You'll provide general Endoscopy Assistant support for pre and post procedural office visits including advanced level support tasks. Provide direct clinical and clerical support to the medical and surgical specialty clinicians (and other procedural departments).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for endoscopy procedures, including equipment setup, instrument handling, and assisting physicians during advanced procedures
- Manage patient flow and assist with pre- and post-procedure care, including education, vital signs monitoring, and physical support
- Perform sterilization and quality control of instruments and specialized equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling follow-up appointments, verifying authorizations, and maintaining patient records and recall databases
- Train new staff, monitor patient satisfaction, and support clinical teams by resolving internal inquiries and maintaining efficient workflow

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- CPR certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
- Proven solid interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to communicate in a professional and appropriate manner
- Proven ability to relate to all levels of staff and patients
- Proven ability to prioritize work throughout the day in a busy environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in medical assisting or graduate of certificate program
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
- Job experiences requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritize activities
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.22 to $31.43 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
