Fusion is at the heart of Autodesk’s long-term strategy to transform Design to Manufacture. By connecting workflows end-to-end and leveraging cloud technologies, we are redefining how products are designed, engineered, and produced.

This is a unique opportunity to join a long-term, high-impact journey, working on complex engineering problems at scale, together with experienced global teams.

You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager and lead a talented, Kraków-based team that plays a key role in Fusion’s success.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will combine technical leadership, people management, and delivery ownership. You will create an environment where engineers can do their best work while delivering high-quality software to customers around the world.

    Responsabilities

    • Lead and grow a cross-functional team of software engineers delivering critical Fusion features

    • Partner closely with Product Management, Experience Design, Architects, and Technical Leads

    • Help your team understand requirements, evaluate new architectures, and make sound technical decisions

    • Build a high-performance, collaborative engineering culture based on trust, ownership, and continuous improvement

    • Plan, track, and ensure execution against roadmaps, schedules, and budgets

    • Coach, mentor, and support engineers in their career development and growth

    • Drive high standards of quality, security, scalability, and user experience

    • Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across Europe, the US, and other regions

    • Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple initiatives in parallel

    • Keep the customer perspective at the center of engineering decisions

    Minimum Qualifications

      • Automated testing and quality gates

    • Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum development methodologies

    • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English)

    • Has 3–5 years of people management experience in an engineering environment

    • Understands what it takes to build highly scalable and high-performance systems

    • Enjoys recruiting and developing top engineering talent

    • Is a natural mentor and coach, not just a task manager
