As a key member of the Corporate Reporting team, you will lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for submission to the Parent company (Nestlé SA). You will serve as the primary contact for the Group Reporting Team and division stakeholders, ensuring first-time quality in all reporting. Your role emphasizes continuous improvement, leveraging new systems to enhance efficiency and proactively engaging stakeholders for timely, accurate submissions. Success in this position requires strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities- Manage, review, and prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages (P\&L, balance sheet, working capital, cash flows, and schedules) for various reporting units.
- Coordinate responses to external auditor requests, covering multiple operating companies (Nestlé USA, Nestlé Health Science, and newly acquired businesses).
- Collaborate with Nestlé SA Group Accounting & Reporting teams to implement and enhance reporting systems.
- Support business teams and functions (Tax, Legal, Treasury, Supply Chain, etc.) with technical accounting guidance and the implementation of new standards.
- Provide expertise for ad-hoc projects, including system implementations, integrations, deconsolidations, and M\&A activities.
- Oversee and enforce PEC deadlines with the IBS team to achieve a two-day close.
- Lead coordination of tasks with stakeholders, including GAR and IBS teams.
- Investigate and resolve issues affecting the integrity of the financial close, working with Finance Master Data and IT teams as needed.
- Partner with teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for issues identified during close.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CPA (preferred)
- Experience with system implementation
- 5+ years of high performance in Finance and Technical Accounting, including 3-5 years in Corporate Reporting or Public Accounting (GAAP/IFRS)
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication skills for explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, focusing on documentation, automation, and data integrity
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
- Passion for solving complex problems and generating cross-functional solutions
- Interest in developing digital solutions, with expertise in data awareness, visualization, and business partnering
- Strong problem-solving skills

- In-depth SAP experience
