Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units—Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission Statement:
As an Engineer of Power Quality Service team, you will be part of Operation Center, India (INOPC-PG), aiming to develop a global value chain, where key business activities, resources and expertise are shared across geographic boundaries in order to optimize value for Hitachi Energy PowerGrid’s customers across markets.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop the Preventive Maintenance Plans for ongoing tenders and projects based on customer requirements.
- Communicate with Tender team and project team to align with the design for the station.
- Preventive Maintenance plan is the base for the RAM requirements in the projects hence it is very important information to meet the customer requirements regarding reliability and availability (Effecting the outage periods especially during warranty period).
- Understand the maintenance requirements on Equipment from Sub suppliers.
- Read and understand technical specification from customers and work on the risks and opportunities involved.
- Coordinate with the Design Engineering and the Field Operations team to finalize the technical offering in the tender.

Your background:
- B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum work experience of 8+ years in Operation and Maintenance or Testing and Commissioning of Substations and Power plants.
- Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion.
- Experience in maintaining Substations of 33 KV and above. Hands on experience in routine and preventive maintenance of all primary equipment in AIS and GIS.
- Good experience in managing TBM, CBM and RCM in Substations.
- Hands on experience in testing of different make primary equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
