Job Purpose

As an Electrical Engineer professional, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment developing sophisticated batteries, battery chargers and other related products.  You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the manufacturing of electrical systems which meet and exceed customer specification standards focusing on economy, safety, quality, and sustainability.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Design and develop all electrical systems and products used in manufacturing of batteries and related parts.
•    Supports effort to prepare Contract drawings and Contract specifications.  
•    Create models and prototypes of products.
•    Research solutions and estimating costs and timescales.
•    Interface with others on design team, mechanical engineering for power and packaging.
•    Provide technical guidance and support to production personnel.
•    Develop test plan for product quality and acceptance.
•    Record, analyze and interpret test data, including modification and retesting products.  
•    Qualify final product or system.
•    Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations.   

Qualifications

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree.
•    4+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, defense manufacturing strongly preferred.
•    Experience with low EMI circuit design.
•    Experience with analog design, charger circuits, power conversion, and micro power circuits.
•    Demonstrated strong teamwork with various organizations both internal and external. 
•    Effective communication skills with cross functional teams.
•    Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, written and verbal.  
•    Ability to accurately and thoroughly document processes, procedures, and training documents.
•    General knowledge of control systems, electrical testing, and troubleshooting.
•    Awareness of project need and capability to work in a project environment with deadlines.
