This position is National Remote. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four (4) days per week.

The Team Specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, and executing projects. This individual will prioritize daily contact with high value provider offices for chart retrieval scheduling. Also, Team Specialist will create reports based on project needs, required deliverables and data obtained. In addition, the outreach division's Team Specialist will work with department leadership and other member of project management team on executing changes and/or updates to the project tasks. This individual will perform complex and confidential administrative related functions to ensure department operations flow smoothly.

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.

We offer up to 3-6 weeks of training. The hours during training will be 8:00am-5:00pm EST from Monday - Friday.

   

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead for the outreach division in ensuring successful progress is made in chart retrieval for top locations within projects.
  • Establishes effective communication and reporting methods among global team members. 
  • Actively managing escalations and significant issues with internal stakeholders with high level solutions.
  • Conduct outreach calls daily to high priority, high value provider offices to schedule for chart retrieval using various retrieval methods including mail, fax, electronic, and field.
  • Create, manage, monitor, and track project tasks.
  • Conduct project reporting, project management and data analysis
  • Conduct data analysis an create reports and spreadsheets in excel based on project needs and project deliverables to track project benchmarks and make recommendations for change.
  • Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data.
  • Point of contact for staff collaboration for cross departmental and project staff and tasks.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • May be assigned other duties.
  • Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of experience in Call Center environment, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA and PHI
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with internal and external customers. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.

   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Call Center environment, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Application
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office - particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and G-Suite - Google Sheets, Google Docs)

   

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

   

Physical & Work Environment:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting productivity standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen, speak and view regularly
  • Read printed material on paper and similar medium, on a PC or similar electronic devices
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some standing, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
  • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when in a clinical setting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 - $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
